Unst Community Action Plan 2025-30

The new Unst Community Action Plan (CAP) was produced in 2024-25 after community surveys and meetings by
Community Enterprise Ltd. The CAP link is here (24 pages) and the appendices (50 pages)  are here. This is a large piece of work but highlights the kind of things the community needs to consider over the next five years.

Unst Recycling Hub
Unfortunately, plans for the proposed Recycling Hub at Hagdale have had to be shelved due to the high cost of construction. The plans are still on this website, via the link: "Unst Recycling Hub"
We are now looking for an alternative building, preferably in the Baltasound area, to convert rather than taking on a new build.
