Unst Energy audit
Unst Partnership secured £3000 funding from CARES Infrastructure and Innovation Fund to undertake local energy audits in October/November 2014. The audits were undertaken by Pure Energy Centre, on behalf of Unst Partnership, and a report was produced which highlighted energy use and methods of energy savings for eight public buildings. All community groups worked together with Pure Energy Centre to provide energy usage, annual spends and other information.
The finished report was distributed to each community group involved, and there are intentions to assist with the implementation of community renewables in order for each public building to benefit. |
